I can't help but to wonder if your mental health is in your Top 3 priorities. If not, that's ok...I'm just going to urge you to get it there. For me, my mental health is a direct reflection of who I am, how I move, how much work I get done, my energy and how I approach relationships - with everyone and every thing. On a scale of 1-10 with1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I'm at a solid 6. On this day. Not my best, but certainly not my worst. It's important to do a self check in on a daily basis and if you aren't - make it a priority. Make you the priority. Doing this actually helps me be a bit kinder to myself. I'm my own worst critic and I tend to criticize myself more than I praise myself. I know it not good but when I do a check in and know I'm having a rough day I actually take the time to acknowledge that however that I'm feeling - about whatever I'm feeling is OK. Sometimes we just need to feel WTF we feel. It's almost too easy for me to push my own feelings aside to get something done, or to be there for someone else. It's all procrastination really - to prolong facing the shit that plagues us.
If you've made it this far, I'd love for you to comment below and let me know where you're at on the scale and how you're feeling about it. Because...why not?
