A First Look Behind the Scenes

Telling a story about grit, about trauma, about overcoming obstacles in ways you never thought possible, are all ways in which Boxer excels — and that’s not even scratching the surface of it all.

Inspired by films like Love Jones and Creed, writer & director Katie Mack set out to explore what it would look like if two black, type A personality athletes going through their own battles came together through the lens of the intense sport of boxing.

With the amazing cinematography of Austin Kite matched with the stellar performances of our cast, Boxer film will be an amazing piece of art to grace the screen.
